Avant je faisais une pause pour peindre du Warhammer 40k au milieu de Battle, maintenant c'est l'inverse. Je me suis attelé à la peinture des mes Loups de Fenris/Loups Funestes ce week-end et le tout à l'aérographe pour aller vite. J'ai commencé par une base de marron clair, suivi par une couche de marron sur la fourrure en laissant les pattes plus claires. Pour terminer, j'ai passé une fine couche sur le dessus de la fourrure de terre sombre. L'avantage de l'aérographe est qu'il permet de ne pas avoir de séparation nette, pour un effet plus naturel. Une fois cela fait, j'ai passé une couche d'Agrax Earthshade sur l'ensemble de la figurine, puis peint les détails : yeux, bouches, griffes, avant de socler avec du vert gobelin et du Stirland Mud.
I used to have a break to paint models for Warhammer 40k in the middle on painting Battle figs, now it's the the opposite. I decided to paint my Fenris Wolves / Dire Wolves this weekend with the airbrush, and it was really quick. I started with a light brown base, followed by a brown layer on the fur, leaving the legs in a lighter color. In the end, I applied a thin layer of dark earth on top of the fur. The main pro of the airbrush is that you don't have a clear separation, which make it all more natural. Once this was done, I washed the entire model with Agrax Earthshade , then painted details: eyes, mouths, claws, before painting the base with Goblin Green and Stirland Mud.
