Tests de camouflage sur un sniper de Catachan / Camo tests on a Catachan sniper

Après ma chimère et ma sentinelle, j'ai voulu tester à l'aérographe le camouflage sur les troupes de base. Je m'attaque à la peinture un peu plus complexe, parce qu'on va pas se mentir, une grosse machine à l'aéro, c'est pas super compliqué.

After my chimera and my sentinel, I wanted to test camo painting with the airbrush on basic troops. I'm starting a little more complex method of painting, because let's face it, painting a big machine with the airbrush is not very complicated.

Alors voilà, j'ai voulu tester le tout sur un sniper parce qu'il est en métal, donc peut passer à l'acétone, et car le camouflage va couvrir l'ensemble de la figurine dont le rôle est d'être, eh bien, camouflée...

So there we are, I wanted to test this method on a sniper because it's made of white metal, so it can pludged in acetone, and because the camouflage is going to cover the whole figure whose role is to be, well, camouflaged ...

Pour ce petit rendu, j'ai juste passé à l'aérographe une couche de Death Forest World. J'ai ensuite appliqué des points en marron d'abord, puis en Catachan Green, un peu au hasard. Pour terminer, un lavis d'Athonian Camoshade a suffi pour un rendu propre. Bien sûr la figurine sera à peaufiner, mais la méthode me convient pour attaquer des troupes et me faire un peu la main. J'ai séparé toutes les jambes et les torses sur mes guerriers de catachan pour peindre les jambes de cette manière. Je pense gagner énormément de temps avec ça, parce que la peau prend énormément de temps...

To achieve this, I just applied a coat of Death World Forest with the airbrush on the whole miniature. I then applied random dots of brown, then Catachan Green. Finally, a wash of Athonian Camoshade was enough for a clean finish. Of course the figure will need more work, but I'm satisfied with the method, enough to paint troops and practice. I separated all the legs and torsos on my catachan warriors in order to paint the legs that way. I think this method will be a great time gain, because painting skin is very long...
