WIP: Legion of the Damned

Hello everybody, 

Busy program, but I am progressing well. I am currently painting a Salamanders tactical squad and a small Legion of the Damned squad. I bought it last year because it really is a unit that has always made me dream, like the Deathwatch units. Without necessarily using it as a special unit, I find that it allows a little originality in an army. In addition, this unit has many flames, which makes it an interesting exercise for the airbrush.

So, I first painted the flames and then masked them with Maskol to paint the rest in black. Well, I'm far from finished. But so far, the result looks pretty good:

Hello everyone, I recently finished the great banner for my command squad. This is a miniature from the metal kit of the 3rd Edition which photo is extracted from the Space Marines Codex:

It's been a while since I had this badly painted mini which for me always looked really badass. Here are some pictures of the latter, painted with the Salamanders color scheme which are not extraordinary. I'll redo better one with the banner that I am preparing:

Salamanders Tactical Squad

Hello everyone,

Time flies. We are already in 2018 and I have just begun to paint again after many months of absence. The minis stayed in a corner while I was waiting to reach a certain cruising speed in regards to family life. And yes, it changes the deal to be a dad. But hey, with a little will, I got back on my feet pretty quickly. After all, painting is like cycling, you never forget .

For 2018, I have big plans. First, I will try to finish my Salamanders army because I feel that I am close to the end. Then the Catachan army will also be part of the plans. Of course, it would not be a new year without delusional projects ... Taking my old Empire army out and considering the progress I made in painting, I decided to repaint everything. Crazy project considering the number of figurines to redo. But with the airbrush, I am rather hopeful to go quickly.

To start the year in style, here are some pictures of my Salamanders tactical squad. Enjoy!
